Should Images be Venerated – A Debate

The veneration of images is a common practice in Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. Can this be supported? Certainly not from the Scriptures. Catholics make the distinction between idolatry and veneration, the former being verboten but the latter acceptable and of spiritual benefit.

Turretin Fan recently debated Catholic apologist William Albrecht on this topic.
